# Claude (web, desktop, mobile)

Claude connects to 0bridge as a custom connector. You add it once on the web or desktop app, and it then shows up in the mobile app too. Level: connector. Last checked 2026-10-01.

## Set it up

The URL to add:

```
https://0bridge.dev/mcp
```

No key or client ID is needed: the app registers itself and you sign in with your 0bridge account. Custom connectors work on every plan (the Free plan allows one).

1. Open [Claude](https://claude.ai), then **Customize** → **Connectors**.
2. Click **+** and choose **Add custom connector**.
3. Name it `0bridge`, paste the URL above, and click **Add**. Leave **Advanced settings** empty.
4. Click **Connect**. A 0bridge page opens: sign in if asked, check it names Claude, and click **Allow**.
5. In a chat, click **+** → **Connectors** and turn on 0bridge for that chat.

Try: "What tools do you have from 0bridge?"

**Team and Enterprise:** an owner goes to **Organization settings** → **Connectors**, clicks **Add** → **Custom** → **Web**, pastes the URL and clicks **Add**. Each member then clicks **Connect** and signs in with their own 0bridge account.

**Mobile:** the mobile app uses the connectors you added on the web or desktop; there is nothing to add on the phone.

## What Claude gets

- Every connected service that isn't limited to a project.
- Your profile, in short: the first 1,200 characters of it are sent as the connector's instructions, so Claude knows who you are. Turn that off under Settings → AI apps.
- Your memory, when you or Claude ask for it: `bridge__memory_search` and `bridge__memory_save`. Claude is told to confirm before saving. Memory is never injected on its own.
- Your skills, as prompts named `skill_<name>`.
- Your agents, if you turned on agent control: see [Your agents from your phone](/docs/remote-control).
- Host tasks on your dev machine, with agent control on and a supervisor set up there: Claude has no MCP events, so it asks with `bridge__host_updates` ("any questions from my dev host?"), and an ntfy topic or email tells you when a worker asks something. See [Dots and your dev host](/docs/dots).

## What Claude doesn't get, unless you opt in

Your coding-session history. The tools `bridge__history_search`, `bridge__history_get`, `bridge__resume` and `bridge__session_save` reach chat apps while **Chat history** is on under Settings → AI apps on the dashboard. New accounts start with it on. Ask Claude to turn it off (it calls `bridge__settings_off`) or run `0b settings off chat-history`; turning it back on needs the dashboard and you to confirm it is you. When it is on, say `continue 0b:k3f9x2` in a chat and Claude resolves it: see [Resume anywhere](/docs/resume).

The directory listing is different: if you add 0bridge from Claude's connector directory instead of as a custom connector, the history tools are never offered, whatever you set.

Secrets are never available here. A connected chat app can't read, add or change vault values.

## If it doesn't work

- **"Couldn't connect" or nothing opens:** allow pop-ups for the Claude site, and check the URL ends in `/mcp`.
- **Only `bridge__…` tools listed:** connect a service first (dashboard → Connections, or `0b connect linear`), then start a new chat.
- **A service's tools are missing:** it may be scoped to a project, or its sign-in expired: the dashboard shows **Needs sign-in**.
- **Claude Code shows it twice:** it doesn't; Claude Code keeps the local entry `0b setup` made and skips the connector.

## Remove it

Disconnect it in the app under **Customize** → **Connectors**.
