claude.ai and ChatGPT

The chat apps can't run 0b setup, so you add 0bridge to them once, on the web. Your connections then work there too, on the web and in the mobile and desktop apps.

The URL to add, in both:

No key or client ID is needed: the app registers itself and you sign in with your 0bridge account.

claude.ai#

Works on every plan (the Free plan allows one custom connector). On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it first; see below.

1. Open claude.ai, then Customize → Connectors.
2. Click + and choose Add custom connector.
3. Name it 0bridge, paste the URL above, and click Add. Leave Advanced settings empty.
4. Click Connect. A 0bridge page opens: sign in if asked, check it says claude.ai, and click Allow (you may be asked to confirm with your passkey or an email code first).
5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and turn on 0bridge for that chat.

Try: "What tools do you have from 0bridge?"

Team and Enterprise: an owner goes to Organization settings → Connectors, clicks Add → Custom → Web, pastes the URL and clicks Add. Each member then finds 0bridge under Customize → Connectors and clicks Connect; everyone signs in with their own 0bridge account and gets their own connections.

ChatGPT#

Needs a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu) with developer mode, which a workspace admin may have to allow. ChatGPT moves these settings now and then; the names below are the current ones.

1. Open chatgpt.com, then Settings → Security and login (on some accounts: Apps → Advanced settings) and turn on Developer mode.
2. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins (or Settings → Apps) and click + (Create).
3. Name: 0bridge. Description: My services and secrets through 0bridge. Under Connection, choose the public endpoint and paste the URL above. If it asks for authentication, pick OAuth.
4. Create it. A 0bridge page opens: sign in, check it says ChatGPT, and click Allow.
5. In a new chat, add 0bridge from the tools menu (+).

ChatGPT asks before tools that change something (sending a message, creating an issue). That's expected; reads run straight away.

What they see#

• Every connection that isn't limited to a project. A connection scoped to projects is for the agents in those repos only, so the chat apps don't see it.
• Not your conversation history: those tools are for coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor). The chat apps' connector rules don't allow reading chat history.
• Secrets never: the chat apps can't read or use vault values.
• Not Vercel or Figma: they let only apps they've reviewed sign in, so 0b connect adds them to Claude Code, Codex and Cursor on your machine directly, not to 0bridge.

To change which connections show up, open Connections on the dashboard, then ⋯ → Scope on a connection.

With Claude Code and Codex too#

Nothing shows up twice. Claude Code loads your claude.ai connectors, but when the same endpoint is also set up on your machine (0b setup does that), it keeps the local one and skips the connector. Codex doesn't load ChatGPT's apps at all; it uses what 0b setup put in its own settings.

If you connected a different 0bridge account in claude.ai (say, your company's), Claude Code on your machine still uses the account 0b setup signed in with. To stop Claude Code loading claude.ai connectors at all, set "disableClaudeAiConnectors": true in its settings.

Remove it#

Disconnect it in the app: claude.ai under Customize → Connectors, ChatGPT under Settings → Apps.

If it doesn't work#

• "Couldn't connect" or nothing opens: allow pop-ups for claude.ai or chatgpt.com, and check the URL ends in /mcp.
• Only 0bridge's own tools (bridge__…) listed: connect a service first (dashboard → Connections, or 0b connect linear), then start a new chat.
• A service's tools are missing: it may be scoped to a project, or its sign-in expired: the dashboard shows Needs sign-in.
