Files you keep out of git, like AGENTS.local.md, CLAUDE.local.md or .claude/settings.local.json, follow the repo to every clone and machine.

  • Contents are sealed with your vault key; 0bridge can't read them.
  • Symlinks stay symlinks.
  • Every change is a version: 0b files log <file>, 0b files restore <file> <v>.
  • If two machines change a file, nothing is overwritten: the other copy is written next to it. Merge, then 0b files push --force.
  • 0b background on keeps them in sync every 30 minutes: a background job on a Mac; on Linux it prints the crontab line to add.

Outside a repo#

Files under your home folder sync the same way, and so can one key of a JSON file.
